This paper presents a description methodology for trihedral planar solids that, as in Roberts' approach, decomposes an object into simpler components. The present approach, however, is more sophisticated and results in a more natural description. Hidden vertices are located in the process of description generation. Also, it is shown how the 3-D coordinates of the vertices can be obtained from the 2-D coordinates.
